Wendy Knorr, President
Wendy Knorr opened KMC in 2004. Prior to opening KMC, Knorr served as director of corporate communications and advertising for Missouri Employers Mutual Insurance in Columbia, Mo. Before becoming director, Knorr served as corporate communications manager and as a communications specialist at MEM.
Knorr began her career with Hallmark Cards, Inc. National Affairs Office in Washington, D.C. as an administrative assistant to the vice president. Within two years, she became the company’s national affairs manager where she handled legislative issues and special events.
Knorr has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in English from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She has served on the board of the Missouri Symphony Society and as president of the Donna Crockett King’s Daughter Circle. Knorr was selected as a ‘40 Under 40’ Award Winner in 2003.
